Make It Even
Some towers have more. Some have less. Move blocks until every tower matches — the height they all share has a name: the mean, or the average.
No score is kept. No points, no streak, no ranking — the only number anyone writes down is the one your teacher writes down, standing next to you.
Watching one first is a strong way to start.
Tap a tall tower, then a short one — or Tab to a tower and press Enter. One block moves.
Make each set of towers even: cross out blocks from the tall ones and draw them on the short ones. When every tower matches, that height is the mean. For 7 and 8, use the shortcut — add them all, then divide by how many.

There is no right answer here. It only tells your teacher where to start next time.
You made all eight even.
The mean is a fair share. Level the towers, and the even height is the mean — adding them all and dividing by how many just deals the blocks out in one move. People also call this number the average.
The stretch is a choice. Taking it — or leaving it for another day — are both strong moves.
One row goes: how many you finished, hints, confidence, and the name you type below. Nothing else — and only when you tap the button.
For the teacher — this device only
One probe row, built from what happened on this screen. Nothing leaves this device on its own — copy the row yourself, or print this page. Independent means made even with no hints; supported means after a hint. Both are real evidence and neither is a grade.

Items 1–6 level the towers; items 7 and 8 use the shortcut — add them all, then divide. Set 2 and Set 3 are the same eight skills with different numbers, so the same student can be probed three weeks running without being measured on memory.
One row per tap — a second tap makes a second row, there is no de-duplication. The name box below is what lands in the Student column.
